What the Fund Supports
Park improvements such as pollinator gardens, benches, murals, and play features
Community-led events such as cultural festivals, park celebrations, or volunteer projects
Projects that encourage stewardship, inclusivity, safety, fun, and leadership through service
Grant Details
Maximum award: $5,000
Open to Durham community groups, nonprofits, and neighborhood associations
Funds distributed annually through a simple application process
Projects must occur in City of Durham parks or directly benefit community recreation
