Where do you Park in Durham? Whether you ride the American Tobacco Trail on the weekends, hike along the Eno, visit the playground at your neighborhood park, or shoot hoops at your local recreation center, you are benefitting from the extensive City and County Parks system in Durham. Did you know:

  • Durham is home to more than 80 parks, recreation centers, trails and greenways
  • ALL outdoor parks, trails and greenways in Durham are FREE to access

YOU can be part of making ALL of Durham’s parks exceptional and unique places to visit, play and experience nature.

Become an Inaugural Member of the Durham Parks Foundation today. Your gift will sustain and grow the impact of parks throughout Durham, including your favorite place to park! If you join by July 1, you’ll receive additional benefits to honor your commitment and celebrate the first major project of the Durham Parks Foundation: a new Environmental Education Pavilion at West Point on the Eno!

This facility will create a new place to visit, learn and host programs at Durham’s most visited park, and will strengthen park staff’s conservation mission. The Durham Parks Foundation must raise at least $40,000 to complete this project.

Join today to support this project, and more like it at your favorite park in the future.
